Application development: Developed several web based applications for the UCR Libraries including: a content management system, online study room reservation system, a search engine for the UCR Libraries website, online reserves request system for faculty and library staff, a student personnel database with an integrated time clock system, statistical analysis tools, and graphical design. Work with clients during the planning, development, and testing of web based applications. Train staff and prioritize feature requests for existing applications.

 

System administration: provide technical support for staff (help desk), deploying software, installing and troubleshooting software applications, deploying systems, maintaining Windows/Linux servers, upgrading hardware, and managing the public printing system in the Libraries.
